and Automobiles

The usual suspects (Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Enterprise, Budget) are present at both airports if you want to rent a car. Your driving license should allow you to rent a car in France without an international license if you have a US or European driving license. Car rental is usually more expensive than in the US.

In France, highways are NOT free, it will cost you around 30 euros from Paris, and around 8 euros from Toulouse. The scenic road in the region is to die for, but does have some fairly small and steep roads.

There are 2 car rental places in Cahors (Avis & Europcar) if you want to visit the region from there. If so, we’d recommend placing a reservation ahead of time.

Information on Taxis will follow shortly.
